I honestly don't know why I haven't already gone out and purchased a panini press. I have heard a many ravishing review about it and really, if it was one of Oprah's favorite things it must be good, right? If you are a proud owner, what do you think, is it worth the cash?

I know panini presses are made specifically to make wonderful sandwiches, but I've found that a George Foreman works just as well. We all have them around from wedding gifts so why not put it to good use. Happy sandwich making!
We use our George Foreman to make paninis. It does an okay job, but the panini press is on my wish list.
I have one and they make an ordinary sandwich into something spectacular!!!
I have a panini press and never use it... lame i know... but it ends up being another thing to store. So maybe the george is a good idea. ALthough we did use it onetime to make grilled stuffed burritos (like taco bell, so pathetic... i know), and they tasted pretty good.
I just co-hosted a baby shower where we had a panini bar. The guests assembled their sandwich, then took it to one of the hosts, who would press the sandwich and then deliver it to the creator. It was a really fun and yummy way to make sure that everyone liked the ingredients in their sandwich. I would definitely recommend a panini press! What's not to like about melted cheese?
